Chapter 6
Fourteen floors above the ground, west part of the abandoned ghost city. Fabulous view of the roofs of Pripyat shows perfectly how the city was built from scratch in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by Pripyat river's swamps. More on west you can see just wild nature, towards east the city itself slowly merges with the trees, followed by the place where this sad chapter of human history started - the fourth block of Chernobyl Atomic Power Plant, now covered by the New Safe Confinement.
Here you can clearly see how the nature is taking back the city. Huge concrete monsters slowly dissapear in the green forest. Some of them remained unfinishhed and could never welcome and accomodate their inhabitants. Maybe the whole day spent here would be enough to fully enjoy the atmoshpere of this lonely place...
